Animania welcomes Crunchyroll as a new sponsor!

After months of negotiations, but mostly months of procrastination, Animania has finally gained another sponsor for our club! You might have already noticed the shiny new link on our front page, but nonetheless, we are pleased to announce that Crunchyroll has become the latest sponsor of Animania. We hope that you, our membership, are as excited as we are and continue to support us as we head into a new partnership.

We at Animania have always prided ourselves on being a gateway to anime for the local scene, and the constant influx of students to the University have provided us with many open minds. Animania has always seeked permission to screen anime when a valid US license existed, and tended to screen anime that were unlicensed in the US. As many of you already know, Crunchyroll is the largest legal streaming site for anime. With Crunchyroll as our sponsor, we are now able to offer Crunchyroll's vast selection in 720p HD during our screenings. We hope that this step will foster more interest in anime as we are now able to point our members to an easy to use and legal site after they experience an anime of interest at our screenings.
