4:00: Amagami SS
Episodes 1-4
Second-year high school student Tachibana Jun'ichi finds himself uneasy during Christmas time, having been stood up on a Christmas Eve date two years ago. However, this year at Christmas, he gets his last chance to ask out a new girl. Arranged as a series of arcs with periodic resets, the first four episodes follow Morishima Haruka, a senior one year older than Jun'ichi, and the development of their rocky young relationship.

5:40: Baka to Test to Shokanjuu (Running Series)

Summary of previous episodes:
Class F still cannot declare war, due to their loss against Class A, so Akihisa's crew was biding their time with school life antics. Himeji prepared lunch for Akihisa, but due to her deadly cooking, Minami ultimately managed to give Akihisa the lunch she prepared. The school went on a treasure hunt, and the students manage to win back just as much as they had lost. As punishment for sneaking into the pool, Akihisa and Yuuji must clean it all summer, but they also took time to relax by the poolside. Yuuji turned down Shouko's confession of love yet again at an amusement park, but Shouko refuses to give up.

Summary of previous episodes:
Twenty years ago, Celty lost her head and most of her memories. Upon discovering that her head was traveling to Japan, stowed away on a ship along with her horse disguised as a motorcycle, she meets Shinra's father, a doctor who offered to let her stay with him if she'd let him dissect her. She agreed, and now lives with Shinra. At school, Sonohara explains to Mikado and Kida that Harima used to stalk Seiji, but has now disappeared. Mikado later spots Seiji with a red-haired girl and chases after them, but Seiji tells Mikado to leave them alone. Later, Yumasaki, Karisawa, Togusa and Kadota receive a strange text message from Kaztano but ignore it. They learn that Kaztano had been kidnapped, and after rescuing him, learn from a kidnapper that the missing people being reported are actually being taken to Yagiri Pharmacy for human testing.
